Honor Guard

Contributed by T Ricchetti

I took this photo of the Hoover Honor Guard at the Special Olympics at our school. I like the facial expressions that they always have on while they march.

this picture is awesome i like how the guards are doing different things , they have different facial expressions they look very serious.i like the shadows. The picture looks very clear but in my opinion i think the picture will be more attracting i it was in black and white, but i also like it in colors. i like the Spain Park sign behind the guards i like how you also took picture of the trees and some part of the football field. Good job!!

I like this photo okay. I think the subject is very interesting. Also, I like the angle you took the shot at. My only qualm with this picture is the lighting. I think you probably could have darkened the picture a little. Overall, this is a good pic.

I think this a great patriotic photo; i can appreciate anything thats military. The angle is alright, but i think it would have been cooler if it were taken from below pointing up, but it's still good. I like how you were able to catch shadows and highlights within the guard members. The green color stands out well, so your colors are great. This is an awesome photo.

I like the angle this picture was taken at too, but I agree about the lighting. I wish the third guard's face was not shadowed. I also think this picture would be better in black and white. The colors to me are distracting, although I like the colors of the American flag in the corner. Nice job overall though.

i do not like the photo. I mainly do not like it because of the lighting. It looks too bright outside, but that could have easily been corrected working with the images levels and channels. I also do not like the composition of the shot. It would have been better if you included more of the flag, but you cut off what the police officers were holding and it takes away from the image. better luck next time.

I like the school sign in the background and the angle this was taken from. The serious emotion makes this photo very nice. One thing that could be changed would be the lighting since there is a shadow on the third person’s face. One option could be to make it black and white, but this is still a very nice photo! Good job!

Im not a fan of this photo. Im just being honest. I just think the lighting is really uninteresting, and the angle doesn't appeal to me at all. even the subject matter is a bit boring to me. The police officer's poses are odd and completely un-uniformed, and it the fact the flag is half out of the photo is distracting to me. Try cropping it at a different angle to make it more intersting. Also you might want to try lowering the saturation.

I'm 50-50 on this photo. The subject is interesting and the angle is good. My main problems with this photo are that the flag is cropped awkwardly and the fact that it's way too overexposed, but I know that was hard to fix because most of mine were from that day too.
