I love how you captured the beautiful texture of all the little veins in the petal. It's abstract and takes a minute to figure out what exactly you're looking at. Great photograph.

LW -SPHSAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18859468.post-28463608041298137992009-04-21T14:31:00.000-05:002009-04-21T14:31:00.000-05:00This photo is nice but it seems a bit uninterestin...This photo is nice but it seems a bit uninteresting. I like the idea but i just feel that there is a way to make a photo like this more intersting, and when i look at this photo i honestly don't feel like its intersting at all. Its not that its bad at all, its just unintersting. I think a change of angle or depth might change.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18859468.post-19658834201660393482009-04-16T14:50:00.000-05:002009-04-16T14:50:00.000-05:00I really like these colors! However, I wish that there was a larger range of focus, so that you could see the closest parts of the flower!Chris Kenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12812100268873359783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18859468.post-45707402316527787452009-04-16T14:17:00.000-05:002009-04-16T14:17:00.000-05:00This image has a nice DOF, bringing together a goo...This image has a nice DOF, bringing together a good composition of colours as well. When I first looked at this, all I processed was a hunk of purple with a green back ground. I just think if this was shot from a different angle it would of been better. The depth of field is nice, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18859468.post-19410918480554061422009-04-15T09:36:00.000-05:002009-04-15T09:36:00.000-05:00Well, this photo isn't bad. However, the subject itself in general is kind of boring. I think maybe you should have shown the whole flower. But anyways, yeah; I love the colors but the subject itself is kind of dull.
SPHS AMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18859468.post-78639411853045082602009-04-14T14:57:00.000-05:002009-04-14T14:57:00.000-05:00This is a gorgeous shot. The depth of flied here is also excellent. You got the main subject in focus and then got the green bush in the background to blur. The purple and the green contrast very well and this shot appears hidden and calm. Great work.Kayla S. - ERHSnoreply@blogger.com
