Well..if anyone ever checks this blog anymore, you may have noticed a lack of submissions from my students. This is mostly my fault, the school year is winding down and we are currently gearing up for our end of the year art show. The work of my student has been judged by UAB professor Derek Cracco. The art 2 students submitted their best work for review. There were too many small categories so the images were judged together as one large group. I will post the winners here soon. I also recently attended the 2006 Visual Arts Achievement Statewide Exhibition. My student I Khot received an award for best digital art in the state. He is shown here with his artwork titled "A Long Voyage."
