I took this image at a lake. I like this picture because of the way the orange color of the leaf looks against the wood. I also like how the water is the background behind the leaf. I also like the texture of the wood against the texture of the leaf.

I like this picture a lot. But i would look a lot better if you could see a little more detail in the water maybe.
But really good picture.

I really like the image. The rail adds a motion to draw the eye and the leaf adds a subject but it seems to need more of something to draw your attention to the background

i think this is a great composition. the leaf really has character, and i love how it's in focus and the water makes an out of focus look. the detail is nice and the contrast works. good job.

Actually I think this image is above most of its kind. The angle of the wood that the leaf is on helps the image greatly. Making a more dynamic composition. I agree that a bit of detail or color in the water would help. Don't be afraid to add (throw some leaves in the water) to what mother nature omitted.
