Untitled

Contributed by C Selman

I took this picture inside a friends house. There was a lamp in the corner that gave me a unique light source. The object is the top of a wired sculpture of a tree that had a little house and people at the bottom. The only thing that I did to this picture is cropped out a little of the bottom. My goal for taking this picture was to capture the cool lines and their patterns. Tell me what you think :).

This is a very nice piece. The texture of the wall is very nice, as are the lines and shadows. I think you did a good job with the crop - keeping the main part of the "trunk" off-center as you did and providing a balance between your subject and negative space. Good work!

This is a very good photo. The unique lines and the depth of field really help the photo. The light as it grows lighter and darker across the photo definately helps it along. Nothing really wrong with this photo to comment on, so, great job!

I like how the lines are abstract and the gradient between the top left and bottom right connects. I like the light source as well.

That's pretty cool. I agree with everyone else's comments with the light and texture. It reminds me of spaghetti, haha.
