I took this picture a couple weeks ago in a neighborhood right by a lake. It was a very beautiful and very sunny day. Then i went into the woods and took this shot overlooking a lake and house. I like this shot because the sun brings out the color in the leaves and makes the lake very nice.

OK shot, the idea is pretty good. The branch needs more contrast from the background, that way it would not look so blended in. I would also try to tone down the white in the shot. It takes to much out of it.

Unfortunately, the photo doesn't hold my interest. It lacks a worthwhile focal point. The background is way too obscure to be of interest, and the depth of field is not shallow enough to force my focus on the foreground. I also don't get the title at all. The branches in the foreground seem to have had some potential, but maybe f2.8 or so with a cleaner background would've done them more justice (?)
Unfortunately, this shot doesn't hold my interest. The background is too obscure to be worthwhile, and the depth of field is not shallow enough to force my attention on the foreground. If your focus was the leaves in the foreground, then perhaps a (much) wider aperture (e.g., f2.8) and a cleaner background would've made the shot more worthwhile. I also don't get the title, FWIW.
I love nature shots and I happen to love this one. I love the color fo the leaves adn the water in the background and I love how they somewhat blend together. I really like this shot nice job!!
this picture is definitely not one of my favorite in your school's blog, but it's not the worst i've seen. it could be way better than it is, though. you should have edited it a little bit so that the colors were more vivid... and i really can't tell what your main subject is.
