Back in Black...and White

I took this image for the shadows photo assignment we had last week and this is one of the better ones in my opinion. Myers made a suggestion that it would look better in black and white so i tried it out. Tell me what you think.

Well when this picture was first seen it was color and the black and white works a lot better. I really don't know what the shadows are so it makes me think.

I really like this picture. I feel like shadows are best caught in black and white. I like the use of shape and line in this picture. not just from the shadows themselves but also from the lines between the boards. good job.

This is pretty cool and a neat approach on shadows. It almost appears that the shadows are on a wood floor, but it could be a wall…… I like how the black and white darkens the shadows and lightens the wood grain. You also get some diagonal shadows at the upper left and lower right corners of the photo, which fade out, which is a neat effect. Awesome!
