I took this picture for the tone on tone assignment a couple weeks ago. I think it is a pretty amazing picture. There is a bad shadow on it, but that's not my fault; blame the sun.

The texture of the apple and the towel really work well together. I like the ripple of towel (suede effect) combined with the smoothness of the apple, with the stem of the apple providing a nice point of interest. I tried a photo like this with a red embroidered patch on a red leather jacket, but it was not half as good as yours. Nice job.

I really like this photo; I love the color and overall visual impact of it. Even with the same colors it’s easy to distinguish the apple from the fabric because of the lighting and shadows and how it brings out the shape and textures of both. The shadow is a little unfortunate but I don’t think it takes away that much from the picture as a whole.

I love this photo. It has nice texture, and I'm not so sure the shadow is "bad". For a tone-on-tone, it is very good.
I really like this photo I like how the smooth texture of the apple looks against the rough texture of the background. Even though the shadow does throw the photo off a little I still really like this picture.
