I really like this photo. The angles of the object and the very geometric shapes are really unusual its very nice very different from the usual organic pictures that we see.

I like the simplicity and geometry of the shot and the overall warm coloring. Good overall sharpness

I like this mainly because it might take a while just to figure out exactly what it is. I like the colors of the photo and the placement of the shot.

i love this angle of an umbrella. in my mind you took a boring ugly yellow umbrella and made it awesome. that pretty much sums up my feelings.

I agree with Jay, you made a potentially boring subject very interesting. I myself probably wouldnt give a picture of an umbrella a second glance but you put it in such a perspective as to make the viewer come and look again to make sure that its really what they think it is. I also like how you reversed the depth of field by making the subject sharper farther off and blurred where its in your face. A way that I think you could possably inhance this piece more is by emphasizing the, what looks like, the sun's glare in the top left corner in some way. I think it would look pretty spiffy if the viewer felt he was looking at the sun through the umbrella. just as thought.

Um, trey, i think it's over exposured a lil on the left.

I like how it's warm, but I mean, step up your game.

Kira's pretty much owning you on this blog.

Wow. This shot really caught my attention, in a good way. I love how the dark wood contrasts with the bright yellow of the fabric and the pole. Even though the left and right sides are different colors, I think that adds to the photo and gives it a more rustic look. You focused and utilized your depth of field well, keeping the umbrella sharp while the pole leading to it is softer, helping lead to the subject but not distracting from it. I would definitely hang this photo on my wall. It would be a great addition to the décor in a beach house.
