Pink Target

Contributed by J Bailey

while taking my bi-weekly photos of red subjects, I took this picture. You can't see the original but it had a bit of a blue overcast that didn't look so great, and while the subject was interesting there was more I could have done with it...so I did more with it. I was simply doing an adjustment with the hue in the new cs3 bridge and metaphorically span around and around until I crash landed with this. I like it, and I want to get opinions of what others think about it, too.

Megan Cox RHS-
This photo is very unique looking. Some things i would of done different would of been to not to adjust the hue as much. the original photo would be interesting to see compared to this one. Another simple part of this picture is the car. teh car although is not so simple at all, it is a big part of this photo and bascially makes it. th cart alone would not be so interesting. this photo definitley stands out and makes a statement.

I like this picture. The red from the shopping cart really stands out, especially in the mix with all the brown. The angle the picture was taken in is very interesting, too.

I hope you didn't scratch the car, because that would be most unpleasant.

wow, the colors almost hurt my eyes. could you dim that red/pink down a bit? aside from the color I think this is a cool shot. I really like how well defined the ground is and how you included the car although I think you could have squeezed in a bit more of it. asides from the angle though, the audience is going to stare at this shot cause they're going to be able to connect with it. we've all seen some jerk let his cart roll down the lot, unchecked, and come to rest in a parking spot or, as in this pic, on your car.

Hey Jack this a really cool picture i like the angle and the color alot. Its just really cool looking. The cart is really cool. I like the bumper in the bottom right with the reflection of the cart in it.

I love everything about this shot except for the color of the cart. The color and sharpness of the car and the pavement look really good, but the vibrance of the redish pink takes away from the sharpness and it is very distracting. Its just a little too much. Other than the color of the cart this shot is awesome.

When I first noticed this photo, I didn’t like it. I was like why would someone change the color of the cart and call it a good photograph? Then when further looking at it and what you had said, I had reconsidered it. This is an original, rule of thirds, and creative photo. What I would try to do next time is give the subject some room so it doesn’t look so squished.

This is a really cool picture. The basket almost looks fake. But I like it. The glare off the car is a little distracting though. Overall the picture is really good.

I really like this picture. I think that the color of the cart adds to the contrast between the pavement and car to the cart.I would like to see the original shot, though, because I feel like it could be just as good, if better, than this one. The pink loks good, but it may be better natural.
