BAY

Contributed by C Selman

This is a bay in Florida that people live around. The grass growing in the water adds good contrast to the picture. I really wish there was something better to show how great the depth of field was. I sharpened the picture, did a curves adjustment and a few other things to try and enhance the picture.

Awesome picture. love the texture in the grass and water. it would look really cool with a hue/saturation layer on the sky. nice job! - alli minor

Great picture. One thing is that I would love to see this same view at a dusk or dawn time. I think a more dramatic sky would lend a lot of interest to this photo. Regardless of the sky's blandness, this picture still has a lot to offer, and I like it a lot. Good job.

This shot has a lot to offer in the ways of dynamic-"ness." The wall leading off into the distance and the grass/water line keeps the eye moving around the piece. Good composition but I agree with the above post in that I think different lighting would improve the atmosphere and/or mood of the shot. that might even produce a cool reflection of the sun set or sun rise on the water.

I really like the color contrast in this picture. It is an amazing eye that you have. I especially like the sun coming out in the top left background.

Very pretty place and nice photo. The wall leads my eye back into the photo nicely. The sky is a bit too bright but I like the subtle colors I find there. Good use of rule of thirds on the horizon.

thats a nice photo. i like the wall in the background there. it leads my eye toward the back of the photo. you got a nice clear crisp shot. i like how the greens and the blue of the water. that is good contrast. i agree with myers that the sky is a bit to bright but it does not really seem to stick out to me. i also like how you have a line between the green of the sea grass to the water. it makes a diagonal implied line across the water. this picture lacks a central subject. But i do not think that really matters. this is more of a landscape picture so it does well for that purpose. I like the far off dock in the distance. it gives you something to wonder about. overall this is a great picture.

I agree with these other comments. The color in this picture is vibrant and colorful. The green take's the focus of your eyes and keeps it. Nothing else seems to matter in the shot and thats why I like it.
