Good shot Jack,
My interest is drawn to the ladybug for lots of reasons. DOF, centering, color, the fact that there isn't anything else to see. The only reason I think that it is not more successful is that the ladybug is a bit too small to let me see enough detail to keep my interest. I also think that since my attention is already on the bug there is no need for the central placement. A good time to crop so the bug is on the lower 1/3 rt corner.

This is a cool shot. the balance is good with the ladybug surrounded by the rock. Also the texture and color of the rock adds a nice feel to the shot. the redness works along with the brighter red of the ladybug, good work.

i like this one a good bit.
its really adorable, haha.
i like how the lady bug just stands out so much against and dull background. the only issue i have with the shot is that its a little too bright. but i still like it.

I like this photo. I like how its blurry in some of the foreground and background aswell. I also like how the colors seem to be very organic. The only thing i would change is zooming in more on the lady bug.

Very cool picture. You can definitely tell the main focus and the plain background works great.

This is a pretty nice shot. I like the texture on the ground and how it contrasts with the ladybug. As Myers said, I agree that it would be a little better if the shot was a closet and there was more detail in the bug. I also like the simplicity of the shot. Your eye is instantly drawn to the center and you understand that the bug is the main subject. Quick and simple, good picture.

I like this alot because of the texture of the background, and the small subject on a seemingly vast background.

Cool picture! I really like how the ladybug is in the center. The only thing I would change is zooming in more on the lady bug. For the rest…..it is great.

I agree that the contrast of the bland background and the brightly colored ladybug helps the photo. But I feel like the since the background adds so little visually in itself, the ladybug should make up more of the composition

cool shot. this would have been better if you were closer to the subject and if the ladybug wasn't centered.

I like this photo, the only thing I would suggest is that there is not a lot going on and the random ladybug in the middle does look kind of funny. I would just crop it a bit, so there isn’t so much empty space.

I really like this photo, i love the bright red agianst the nuetral brown. I also think that it has great light and that it has good depth. The only thing i would chang would be to make the lady bug less in the cneter.
