Contributed by J Crocker

I really like the sky in this picture and the detail in the water. Only thing I wish was that the sand was a little lighter, but I realize this was way beyond your control. I like the rule of thirds usage. Good job.

This photo is amazing. I love how the line between where the water and sand meet isn't in the middle like most photos. I think it's cool how you can see the light rays from the sun. The colors are cool too. I like how the colors are bold yet soft. Great job!

This photo is really pretty! I like how you can see the sun rays in the sky reflecting on the water. The colors are very pretty! i also really like how the line dividing the sand and the water is very distinct. Very good picture. -Taylor Ann King

I really like this picture. The darkness on the left and the sunlight on the right really make the photo balanced. I also like how you can see that the clouds and water are in motion. The rays of light from the sun are cool looking also. Nice picture.

I love how you can see the rays of light coming down from the sky and how they reflect against the water. The shore provides a nice line in this photo. I like how this shot is sort of mysterious and dark because it adds interest. Nice job utilizing the rule of thirds, also.

I really like this photo! I like how you can see the sun rays and the way the sun shines over the water. I also like how the line where the water meets the shore stands out. Good job!

This is a pretty awesome photo. The sun rays spraying through the clouds gives a really cool effect. the only thing that takes away from this photo is the dark shadows ont he left. Other than that this ia a really cool photo.

ill be honest jade, the shade is not working for me. i enjoy how the sun is bright and you can see the individual rays of light but not the left side of t he picture. and obvious fix is a croped picture. im guessing you tried to catch the picture like this so i wont say too much since it's all objective anyways.

Very neat picture Jade, The rays of sun are excellent, the position of the sun in the composition is great as well. good use of the rule of thirds. i wish the exposure was a little better. i realize that its difficult to accomplish this bc the sun is so bright but great job.

i like the right hand side of the photo mostly. It has the bright rays of the sun that bring out the clarity of the water and you can see the rays well. On the left however, it's a bit too dark. Nonetheless, it is still an awesome photo.

This shot is alright, I'll agree with you that the first one was better. It's a bit dark on the left side. I think a crop of this shot that got rid of some of the left would be pretty nice. The rays of light are great, just like the last shot.

THis is a really nice picture. It almost looks like there is a wall where the water stops. good job

This is really pretty. I love how the sand is so much darker but it still looks great. The sky looks beautiful and the waves are perfect. The angle is awesome too. It has a really peaceful feeling to it. Great job! It makes me want to go to the beach!

This is a really pretty shot. I like the sky and the way the sun shines through the clouds. I also love the rays of sun coming down from the sky, and the way the light shines on the water. The only thing that I don't like is that the left half of the picture seems a little dark. Shane-SPHS

I really like this picture because it reminds me of the cheesy inspirational posters around hoover. Not to say that this picture is cheesy. Because its not. Very inspiring. Good Work.

This is a really cool picture. I really like it. I really like how you can tell a distinct difference between the sand and the water. The only thing i would have done differently is to make the sun not as bright because it makes the shadows on the bottom left corner look even darker. I would have also lightened up the bottom left a little bit. But nice job!

this photo is pretty awesome, i like the reflections of the sun cast on the water and the fact that the sun is prominent... but not blinding. Overall this is a pretty amazing photo

I like this picture because of the exposure and how the sun seems to be the subject despite the beach. The darkness of the other subjects adds character to them. This is a good picture.

This is pretty well done photo that has a great effect. I’m not sure if you use a vignette or not, but if so, I think you should have backed up a little. The corners are so dark that it takes away from the photo as a whole a bit. I like the effect, just not so much of it.

Wow, this is amazing. My eyes are drawn straight to the sun, and the beach and the water are dark enough so that you just focus on the sun and the sky. Slowly, you notice the buildings in the background for a little more flavor to the picture. Its great.
