Trey's Birthday

Contributed by T Carnes

I picked Treys image today as nobody submitted anything. This one came from his old assignment. I like how he sharpened it as it has lots of interesting detail. Myers

This is a really interesting photo. I like it a lot. I like how you can see the reflection of the trees inside the tv, and how your focal point is so big. The tv is perfectly centered and the leaves take up the negative space of the tv.

I think that this picture is very interesting in that you cannot fully tell what it is at first. Because of the amount of rust and rain damage, there is a lot of brown, red and orange that really works to unify the piece. I like that you can see only a bit of the reflection of the trees in the corners, and the center is completely destroyed. The only thing I might like to see is either more of the ground surrounding the TV, or a shot that is cropped in exclusively on the TV, not showing any ground. I think that if you did either, it would make for a much stronger composition.

I love this photo! awesome detail and i love the colors. I wish there was more of the leaves in this photo because they are colorful and add a different texture. I love the reflection of the tree and how it contrasts with the design in the middle. great photo : )

Great shot Trey! I'm really diggin' the old, screwed up TV with the backround of dead leaves. It kinda gives a depressing look, but I like it. The sharpening and the actual screen look great, and I love how the leaves are just barely outside the TV...like a frame of dead leaves.

trey this is a pretty awesome composition...it's hard to tell at first what it is, then i see that cool reflection of the tree through the corroded screen. everything about this picture is unique which is what makes it so good.

I like this one. I agree with all the other people. The leaves create a perfect frame on this gross piece of equipment. The picture is crisp and a good abstract kinda piece.

This is really interesting in the way it puts a conventional object in an extremely unconventional situation. I look at this picture and halfway expect the TV to flip on and start playing episodes of I Love Lucy
