Sweaty Sibling

Contributed by M Morgan

This is a picture of my little sister right after a soccer game. She won, but was really tired after playing so I thought it'd be cool to get some pics of her all sweaty. I did a smart sharpen, curves adjustment, and saturated it a little bit. There was also this chair in the lower left corner that was distracting so I clone stamped it out.

This photo is a pretty good photo. It is a relatively easy shot to take. I like the usage of depth of field, it could have been more interesting if there was the goal behind her, but it is still nice. I like the picture, it makes me want to go do something.

Good photo. It is nice to see a child's picture in which the subject is not aware of the camera - very natural.

technically this looks good. The shallow dof is good for portraits and your clone stamping is not eviedant. What is missing to me is eye contact. The great focus and detail would have been great if she would have glanced at the camera.

It is a beautiful composition. I'm not sure you realized the color contrast of green and red as well as the aqua color of the eyes and shirt.they are GREAT contrast and also unify the piece which i think is what makes this piece so strong. As Mr.Myers pointed out eye contact would realy shock the viewer. This is a rare photo and you don't have enough comments on it for the solid piece it is. It is not my favorite but it is undeniably unique and deserves decent recognition.

I do like this photo, I like how you got the space in front of her instead of having some distracting space/image behind her. I also can't notice the clone stamping so good job on that. I wish there was some blurred object in the background, but it still looks good without it.
