Random Town

Contributed by C Bennett

I was out of town visiting some family, and this is just one of the random shots I took while walking around. I like that there are several different elements of the photo that lead your eye around the image, such as the vines of the plant.

Cool photo. I like how the boarded up building contrasts with the growing and healthy vines. It gives it a cool urban and rural contrast. I also like the graffiti at the bottom. I love graffiti shots and this one is nice. I like how the blue and black tag looks to have been done over top of someone else's tag. It gives the picture a story. The only thing I would have done differently would have been to maybe crop it to be a little less tall, and do a little levels and contrast adjustments to make the picture less washed out. Good job though. I like it. MFS from SPHS.

I like the colors in the photo. I like that the vines of the plant kind of lead you into the writing on the wall. I also like the window and how the board draws into it and then leads into the plant. LM-SPHS

This photo is nice and interesting, but i feel likes its just background. Like it needs something like a person or an object in it. also the vines feel like they don't belong. its sharp and nice but it sticks out to much. it is an interesting concept to have a graffiti and boarded up building with vines growing on it. maybe you should make the building brighter? its an okay picture.

I really do like the shot here. I like how the graffiti could have been the main focus of the photo but it is n't. I also like the way your eye is led to different things in the picture every time I look at it my eye focuses on a different element of the photo.
