Untitled

Contributed by A Horton

I took this image at the gated. The lighting was really poor and we didn't have a tripod with us so it is a bit grainy if you zoom in. Overall though I like the vibe from this picture.

At first glance, I loved this picture. However, when I stopped to look, I was completely distracted by the magenta and green dots created by the lights. The sky is beautiful and I love the dramatic lighting of the shot..I also like the coloring of the subject. I do not like the treatment of the building and of the subject's face..I'm not sure if you messed around with the color in post but everything seems to have a very orangey-red cast, which is distracting. If you went back and tried to correct that though, this has the potential to be a very beautiful shot.

i do like the vibe it gives off quite well. I think the sky looks wonderful, but my only issue, is the city lights. They do look a bit blown out. Kind of over saturated maybe? I can really figure it out but they look a bit funky. I do like the composition alot though, and i think overall its a good photo. Next time take a tripod with you though.

I like this picture. I like the color and all the lights. It has a good idea of the guy looking over the city.

I like the idea behind this photo and how thoughtful Ian seems to be. However, I don't recall ever seeing large red and green jellybeans occupying the city, but that's probably just me, lol. I do believe there could be much more work done in PS here, but I'm not too sure how I would go about fixing those "jellybeans". Good idea, but could have used some more post work and such.

I think this is a great photo. The sky is beautiful and i don't think the lights of the town are distracting...and i don't exactly think about jellybeans either...lights just look like that at night..if u edited it out i think it would've looked really weird. The brightness from the town makes it more exciting. I also like how you cant see the guy's face..you only kind of get a shadow.I like the way he is standing to, like he's thinking or just looking at the view. I think you did a great job! =)

I personally think this is a great shot. I like how you captured the city below him. The sunset also adds a lot to the photograph. It makes the guy’s silhouette stand out a lot. I think this was a great idea for a photo and you did a nice job of capturing it. It would’ve been better if it weren’t quite so grainy, but considering you didn’t have a tripod I think you did an awesome job :)

i really like this picture overall. i think it would've been better if it was a little clearer. the guy in the photo looks like hes deep in thought while looking over the city below him.
