Rainbow Revolution

Contributed by L Hamby

I took this photo downtown. I liked it because the colors are bright and they lead your eye through the photo. I did a levels and curves adjustment. I sharpened it and I cropped it in.

I really like the composition in this photo. The wall in the background is a good example of leading lines. The colors lead my eye to the subject of the photo. It sort of forms an arrow that is pointing to where the photographer wants me to focus. I think that white stuff on the sidewalk is rather distracting. I would suggest clone stamping it out. Overall, good job on this one.

I really like this photo; I can't find anything wrong with it. The colors are great and really contrasting which makes it look so much better. I like how the parking meter is slightly slanted; it kind of leads you into the colorful wall and sky. It has an interesting feel about it that I can't quite explain. Overall really good!

i like this photo because of the colors in it. There all very bright colors that go well with each other even the black on the parking meter seems to be a bright black with out the color looking to dark or bright. I also like the way the colorful lines in the background move your eyes through the background.

This is a really nice picture. It has a lot of blue, gray and white and then the middle is filled with color which to me really brings this picture together. The adjustments you did also makes this picture bright and very artistic. My eyes really move around this picture.

I really love this photo. The colors are great and they really draw your eye. I think it has good composition and the crop works very nicely. The parking meter stands out well as the subject and the lines on the back wall really move your eye through the picture. Wonderful job!

This is a great photo. I really like how the arrows lead you to the main focus, the parking meter. The meter being slanted really makes it stand out more and I think the colors are really great JMeullen

I like this picture!!!Love the colors !! They are every catchy. everything seems to fall in place. The side walk in my opinion kind of takes away it seems a little distracting. I feel like it interupts or cuts off from the brightness or the leading of the picture but over all I like it!!

This picture is great. The colors in the picture look nice. The lines leads straight to the subject. I like how the subject has the nice curves. The photo has good composition and your eye is easily moved throughout. This picture is very nice.

I really like the colors in this photo. The very blue sky, the colorful strips on the wall, and then the darkness of the parking thing. The balance is perfect in this photo. Great job!

I really like this photo because of the juxtaposition of a dirty urban landscape and a bright, candy land feel from the wall and sky. It almost looks like the parking meter is photo shopped in. The leading lines move the eye to the parking meter, where the numbers move them back down and into the photo. Great job with the curves and levels, you really brought out alot of nice color. Great job!

I really like this photo. It caught my eye almost immediately and the composition is really good. The parking meter in the front of the picture is really interesting and has a lot of col details. I also like how the mural looking wall in the background of the picture looks like a reflection of itself. It has a horizontal symmetry that caused it to catch my eye very easily. The many lines throughout the image really move my eye around as well. This is a great photo. Good job. -BS SPHS

I really like how the meter is almost crooked. The sky is so vibrant and right that it makes the wall appear bright as well. I think you did a great job.
