I took this photo in downtown Birmingham in an alley. I like the grungy, old timey look. I turned it black and white, then put a tint on it.

I love the dark areas and details in this photo. I also love the tight crop so everything cannot be seen. The low perspective makes the building look big and it has a mysterious feeling to it. I love what you did with the colors too. Nice job!!
I really like this. Its a bit drab but i look the mood. The only ting that bothers me is how every thing is angled. I think you should make the windows more vertical. But overall i love it.
I like the lines present in this photo. I also like the colors, or lack thereof! They really make it more dramatic and appealing. It really sends out an old & abandoned look, while making the photo itself seem quite new. I think it was a pretty good idea to choose this depth of field, because it gives more room for your eye to move around. Good Job!!!
I really like this photo...I really dig the dreary colors of the scene. And the various railings and rafters and what not really move my eyes around...I like how the sepia tone is almost a colored sepia if you know what i mean...I would have like to see more of the stairs at the top and maybe on the right side but for the most part its a great shot! There are some interesting parts to this photo. I like how you took it at an angle, and the black and white makes this look dramatic and helps create a kind of grunge look. However, the whole thing is so grey that the picture looks a little dull. There’s nothing really different to distract the eye, so nothing stands out as a subject and it’s not immediately obvious what we should be looking at.
The idea of this photo is very strong. I love the sepia color overlay and I love all the leading lines that continue to move your eye around the photo. I do think that the photo could be slightly cropped to make the windows more vertical so that the photo has a better angle/composition.
This photo has a mood that caught my attention when i took a look at it. The choice of making it black and white was a great one it adds more to the mood shown. As i looked at the image my eyes somehow immediately went to the center object, I really like the angles in it. This picture is good example of leading lines since it makes the viewer to move the eye around the entire image. The windows could have been cropped a little so that a much better composition could be shown. Overall the image is interesting to see and you did a great job making it look this great! =] -MC SPHS
The lines, color, and mood make this picture stand out. The dark places on the wall kinda stands out as shadows, which adds to the mysterious dreary feel. All the lines lead your eyes around the entire picture. I really like this picture because you can probably find something new about it each time you look at it.

I really like your photo! I love how the picture has various types of lines that lead your eye through it. I also like the color of the picture. It creates a mysterious atmosphere. It looks like you are walking through a deserted alley. I also like the upward angle of the picture but i think seeing more of the stairs would make the shot a little better.Good Job.
Excellent focus, a very well done shot that is making me smile as I am typing. You where aiming for a dark feel, and I have to say your sepia coloring gives it just that dark grudge feel. I’m a fan of the darker side of things, so this photo is a smile to the darker side.
