2 Dogs

Contributed by D Meadows

I was attempting to fit the circles assignment but my dogs would not quit interrupting me so I decided to include them in a shot. This window is the one they always are at when someone comes home, making them the first to know. I really like how the lighting puts all the focus on them while the leaves of plant lead your eye back into the shot. All I ran was a levels adjustment and then black and white filter with a tone on it.

nice first post. Thanks for stepping up and volunteering your work to the blog. I like this image because it tells a story. I want to know what the dogs are looking at and that gets me involved in the image. I also like the positive/negative space shifting that is happening with the bright background. I think your decision to make the image sepia toned was a good one. Looking forward to more great images from you and the rest of your class.

I really like this picture because I love dogs. I hear a lot about the photographer's dogs, and I find them very adorable and amusing. It reminds me of my own dog, who has a special window that she likes to look out. She is also the first to see any visitors. Overall, the picture makes me very happy because I love dogs and animals in general, and it has a warm feeling to it.

I really admire this picture, because I love dogs and love taking pictures of nature. I really like how you focused on the dogs more, but it would be interesting if you focused on the nature more.

I really enjoyed looking at this photo. I was looking out into the sky trying to figure out what exactly the dogs were looking at. I love how both dogs directed their attention towards the same area and were focusing in on the same object. I love the neutral colors that make this picture come alive! I really enjoyed looking at this picture!Great Work!

1st blog,2 dogs, Spain Park High ,P.O.

The dogs are a good representation of foreground. The dogs in the foreground aren't prominent, but the coat is still shiny showing contrast to the darker areas of the coat. The haze in the sky is very good contrast to the dog's black coat. To me this picture looks classic

I like this photo because of the color and focus. The focus accents the dogs' fur and the lighting shows them clearly. I'm not too fond of the leaves in the left, but overall it is a good photo.

I really like this photo. Like others said, it seems to tell a story. Because the space in the picture is unclear and so white, it adds to the mystery of what is going on. I also like how the coat of the dogs appears shiny and warm compared to the surroundings.

I like how this photo portrays the dogs like they are best buddies. The background is out of focus and the foreground is also out of focus making the mid ground in focus creating a neat depth of field. This photo reflects relaxation.

I love this shot, it's amazing. The light in the background really does focus on the two dogs. When I looked at this picture it made me want to know what they were both looking at. It caught my attention immediately. The colors are amazing. It's a black and white picture but the levels adjustments really helped to bring in my eye.

I like this picture because its not your normal picture, usually you can see the person, or animals, face but in this picture you cannot which makes it unique. Fill the frame is used here. The lighting could have been a little brighter so I could have seen the dogs more because they are kind of dark.
