Chasing Leaves

Contributed by M Hines

For this photo I ran a levels adjustment. I also cropped the photo so that it became more about the textures in the bark. I really like how the leaves help move your eye into the photo.

I like the composition with the vine and the interesting bark form toward the bottom. I think it could use a bit of the image cropped from the left side as my eye gets a little lost over there. I would also suggest a bit of a contrast and saturation increase to make it grab attention.

I like this photo because it reminds me of when I was little and would go out into the woods with my brother and we would play hide-and-seek in the woods. The whole photo is in focus so there really is no subject but it is still a good all around picture.

I think this picture is neat. I like the leading lines that are in this photo. It allows me to follow the trail of leaves. I also enjoy nature, so the earthy tone is a plus.
