waterWORKS!

Contributed by E McDougal

I took this picture for the theme of water. I like that it plainly says the word WATER in the picture. I did a levels adjustment and also changed a little bit of the saturation.

I like this picture for your assignment. I think that the water works man hole with the rain falling into the puddle is a perfect example of the water assignment. I like the saturation and the adjustment.

This is a great picture! i love how you can see the ripples in the puddle, and how there is still a drop about to fall down and hit the puddle. I also like how you managed to NOT get yourself in the reflection of the water. i also like how the water drain thing is off to the left and the puddle is on the right, great use of rule of thirds! :) overall, a wonderful pic!

This picture is very cool. I like that the subject of the picture is off center. I also like the ripples in the water and the clarity of the water.

This picture plays a perfect role for the assignment. The motion of the rain causing the water to ripple looks really cool. I'm glad it wasn't just a plain sewer drain; I like how there are other pieces of concrete giving a sense of texture. I also like the small bright leaves underwater. Good job!

This is an awesome photo!I like the colors and how it looks gloomy but is also lightened up a bit. The water droplets add a nice effect and the water works lid also is put in the right spot because you do not look only at it. Good Job.

I really like this picture because picture itself has vivid quality so feels like the objects are right in front at me.

I like how it has the water drain in the picture and the droplets hitting the water making the ripples adds a nice effect to the picture.

This photograph is very interesting in the way that the water leaks from under the drain falling into the surrounding water. This photo reminds me of when it has just finish raining outside and the water is draining from the street. The only thing I would suggest is the to bring a little more focus to the water below. Overall it is a good photograph.

This picture is really cool! I love the way the water is splashed beside the sewage drain. It gives it a distinctive look to the picture! I also love the way the picture is so clear and not fuzzy. Overall its a WONDERFUL picture!

This picture really caught my attention. I like how this was taken when the water droplets where just about to come down and hit the puddle. I also like how there's a certain shape repeating in this picture, a circle.

The circles of the drain cover and ripples in the water are what make this photo interesting to look at. The browns and greys and greens give it a very natural feel, and I especially like the light reflecting off the water in the bottom-right corner. -JB

I like that you used the rule of thirds in this. It’s interesting to look at because you see a lot of circles in this. It almost looks like the sewer thing could be a part of the raindrops even though its not.
