I took this summer of '08 of my best-friend Mitchell. All I did was crop it some.
He has been skating for 12 years and is a big dream of his to go far with it.

I love the action in this picture. The balance of the sunlight and the shadow goes pretty well. The shadow in this picture is my favorite personally. Great Pic!

I really like the movement in this piece, but it is sort of blown out in places. you should be careful of that. It could have been interesting to see if you had just zoomed in on the shadow, but the entire thing could end up to small to really be distinguishable. I do however like the angle the photo is taken at. Very interesting! :D

I love the shadow in this picture, and how it goes perfectly with the action shot. This seems to be one of the rare cases where everything just worked.
I like this picture. The shadow adds a very nice effect and gives the picture another image to look at. I think the lighting is a little overexposed because the picture is very bright so if you could turn that down it would be a good photo.
In this picture I like how you can see the shadow and how the skater is still in the middle of his jump. The angel of the shot is different and it makes the photo more creative. The lighting is very bright and makes the picture stand out more.

The shutter speed is pretty good in this picture. I also like the shadow of the skateboarder. However, the trees shadow is kind of distracting. The lighting is good but I think maybe too bright on the skateboarder. I like the idea of the picture.

This picture has a good shutter speed. I like the persons shadow but the tree one is kind of distracting. The lighting is also good but the persons arm is too bright. The placement of the skateboarder also could be better.

I really like this photo because it's an action shot! I like how you can tell it's really sunny outside, and it looks fun and exciting. My favorite part about this photo is the shadow. Something I would have done differently would have been maybe blur out some of the background and played with the colors a little more. Overall, Great shot!

I like how the image is very sharp especially with it being an action shot. The shadow on the ground looks pretty cool too. I also like how the picture was taken at an angle. I think that also helped making the picture look a lot better!
