This is one of a couple hundred shots I took of my friend Michael on one of our hikes at Oak Mountain state park. He is up in a tree and I am shooting him from a couple feet below. I really like how the lines of the trunk lead of into the complexity of the tree and then back to his face. Exposure + Levels + B&W.

this is a really cool picture.
This is a really cool photo. I like the way the black and white contrast with each other. The angle in which this shot was taken is really interesting and gives the photo more jazz. I think this is a nice shot.

I like this picture because of all the lines at the top. I like how the bottom part of the picture is really big and in focus, and the top almost looks like some kind of paisley design. It took me a few seconds for me to even realize the guy sitting in the tree. I also like the black and white effect, i think it looks a lot better. I also like the highlights of the sun hitting his face. Good job!

I really like this picture. The way the trees are set up in the picture draws your attention to the subject. Making this picture black and white was a good choice. It makes the photo feel mysterious and special; color wouldn't have had the same effect. I also like the interesting branches in the top left. Good job!

I really like this picture! The angle that you took the picture really works. I love how the guy is standing between the two tree trunks because he serves at a contrasts from the bark. I also think that changing the picture to black and white really made the picture. Although color would have been pretty, the black and white is what makes it amazing. Good job!

One of my favorite images to be on the blog in a long time. Very well done.
It's a great shot,
Keep up the good work..
This is a great photo. The texture and lines of the tree are very interesting to look at. I like the fact that the shot is in black and white. I think it is much more dramatic that way. The stripes on his tie are really cool too.The shadows of the bottom of the tree highlight the guy's face well. The fact that the sky is so gray and boring really allows for the subject too. This is a good job a framing within a photo too. >MH SPHS
I really like this picture. The subject up in the tree seems to be caught doing what he normally would in a tree and not posing for a shot. The black and white looks really cool and gives it kind of an antique-ish look to it.

This is a really cool shot. When I first looked at it, I didn't even notice that there was a person in the tree, so I like how they are kind of hidden. I also love the way everything is bulky at the bottom and then becomes very confusing and intricate at the top. The lighting is also very nice how the tree is streaked with sunlight. Good job :)
I really like this picture especially how lines of trunks look really balanced with sky and I like how its black and white.
this is a really cool shot. the angle makes the photo more appealing than if you were taking it straight on. the lines on the trees lead up to the boy and then up to the branches, this makes the eye wander through out the photo. it was a good idea to make this photo black and white, overall good photo!

I enjoyed this picture a lot - the angle from which you shot the picture worked fantastically. The intricate "design" of the branches works really well, and the black and white was a perfect effect to add in. It's interesting how it is not particularly natural to see the person in the tree at first - I like that. Good jorb

This is a very cool picture. The angle that the shot is taken from is very unique. I like how you can see only a small part of the subject's face, and how he looks so small compared to the trees. The trees look very tall, like they are forever expanding into the sky.
I really like this picture. It is an interesting angle to look at things from.I also like that you put it in black and white as well. However, if you want the focus to be on the person you should crop in.

Very creepy! It’s kind of hard to take pictures like that. There is a nice balance between the blacks and grays. The person there almost looks like a statue because it’s in black and white. This picture gives me the goosebumps a little. =) VD-ERHS
I really like this picture. U love the sharp contrast of the tree and I almost didn't notice the person between the trees but that only furthers my interest in the picture. In some places it got a little dark and I wanted more detail like kind of at the base of the trees but the picture is fantastic other than that. Great detail at the tops of the trees and I love the grayness and the view from where the picture was shot.
I love the way this picture was taken and how the camera is facing up from the ground and the eerie side of this photo.

This is an awesome photo. The linear perspective in this photo is outstanding! It makes the photo look so long. But I also really like how the guy in the photo is looking straight ahead. I also think black and white was a nice color choice for this photo.

Whoa. I didn't even see your friend in the photo until I read the description, haha. I love the tree though. The POV you took the picture from was perfect to catch the branches in the photo, and I think black and white was a good choice.

This is an amazing picture! I love the angle at which you took this picture. I also like how it's in black and white. If you closely at your friend's face, you can see the sunlight hitting his face, and it kind of sticks out. I also like how you increased the exposure. Good job.

I like how the large base of the tree is drawing your eye up to the top of the picture and into the sky, the black and white plays nicely along with it as well.
