I really love his picture. Everything around the flower is gray and dulled but not the pansey. Its focused and well shot. It kind of shows how beauty can sprout from the dullest and meaningless things. Great Piece. A.M. - SPHS

I really like this picture, especially with the contrast in depth of field. The focus is on the flower in the foreground and the bright yellow curb is noticeable but is definitely faded in the background. The color of the lively purple flower and the green leaves is really cool, and the brown fallen leaf makes me wonder what season it is.

I love the colors in this picture! I like how the details in the purple part of the flower are very sharp and catch your eye even though the flower is not filling the frame. The blurred background helps that a lot. Very pretty picture!

This picture is so pretty. I love how the background is blurred out so that the flower really stands out. The colors of the flower are very vibrant and makes me eager for spring weather. I like how the picture is not cropped out so a person can really see how small the flower is. -KS, SPHS

I like the way this photo looks. I think that the camera angle is really cool; it makes the picture more interesting. The color on the flower is bright which makes it stand out. The blurred back ground is a nice touch because you focus more on the flower.

The colors of this photograph really catch the eye. The cracks of the side walk leading up to the flower were very creative. The clarity of the photo was spot on. The textures of the gravel and the smoothness of the leaves contribute greatly to the eye appealing photograph.

I really love this picture, the colors are a bit too bright for my liking but the concept of the photo is very good. I think it would have been better without the leaf in front of the flower but I'm in love with the whole depth of feel. Good job.

I really love this picture. I love how the lighter color of the flower and the subtle shade of the purple contrasts against the bright yellow wall. I love how well the flower is centered and how there are so many contrasting and conflicting colors. The dark gravel and the lighter gravel on the left. the bright live flower against a brown dead shriveled leaf. This is really good. Great job with the editing. Nothing is done too over the top or too much for that matter. Excellent pic. :-D

I love this picture! Very nice work with the depth of field. I like the saturation on the background. You did a nice job on filling the frame too.

I like this picture! It's cool how the yellow in the background helps pick up the yellow in the center of the flower. The color is overall really nicely done on this picture, and the depth of field is also good. Cute, simple picture.

I really like this picture. I like how the flower is going in between cement, it adds something to the photo. I also like that the flower has prominent color. :)

This photo is very nice. The purple drew my attention very quickly. The blur in the background is great because it brings focus to the flower. The colors in this photo are excellent. The flower looks very crisp in the photo. Very nice job with this photo. I hope the flower is okay though because it looks like it's on a road where it can get squished. :(

I think this photo is very cool. I like how the purple flower draws the viewers attention. I also like how the blur of the background brings more focus the the flower.

I like this picture. The colors are very vibrant and stand out. I like how you focused in on just the flower and let the background be fuzzy. Good job.

This is a really good picture. Even though it's really simple it's still beautiful. With the depth of field, it makes the flower really stand out. The colors look great and background colors blend well together. You filled the frame nicely, and personally I like the brown leaf and the other little things around the flower. Overall, great job!

I really like this picture because of the contrast in the depth of field. Its cool how the background is a blur, so that all the focus in the picture is on the petals. The colors are really nice and sharp too, which makes me want to weather to finally warm up. The yellow in the center of the flower also brings out the background. Good job!! -ce

Somehow even though this is a simple picture, it’s really interesting! I like how the green and yellow in the background match up with the flower (since it has green and yellow itself.) The title is funny too. VD-ERHS

Well, my favorite thing about this picture is probably the title, but the actual photo is really cool also. I love the way the yellow in the background brings out the yellow center of the flower, and I also think that the focus is very nicely done. If I would change anything, I would probably have taken that leaf out of the shot just because it looks a little out of place. Regardless, I still think this is a great shot!

I like the brightness and colors in this picture. I like how in focus the flower is and the simplicity of the entire photo.

I love this picture! I really like how the flower and pedals are so clear but the edges of the picture are so blurry. It brings out the flower in general and it also brings out the colors. The colors look brighter in the picture then they probably are in person. I really love the flower and picture!

I really like this picture. I like how everything is blurry except the flower. This makes the flower stand out really nice. Good Job. KR SPHS

I like the clarity of this photo and how the foreground is in focus and the background is out of focus; the way the colors contrast each other makes this photo look great. I think that the lighting is pretty good.

This is a really great photo complimented by an even better name for it. Sorry the name is my favorite part haha. But I also love the depth of field in this photo. You allow the flower to be your subject not only by making it the center of your image but also by making this the only part in focus. You also did a good job of using leading lines. The line created where the asphalt ends and the curb begins takes you directly to the flower and out of the image as well. You did a really great job with this photo. Keep up the good work. ATP SPHS

Not only a great picture but a great title as well. The flower looks as if it is being crushed or suffocated. What an odd place to find such an innocent looking flower.

this is a great picture. i love how the flower is so in focus and upfront and the rest of the picture isn't. i love how the flower is growing in such an unusual place and how it is all alone. Great job!

I like the color scheme to the photo. The yellow blurred out in the background is nice with the same hue in the middle of the flower. Nice boost on the saturation!

I really like this picture especially part that flower has main focus of this picture and it makes more visualize on main subject.

I really like this photo because of what you did with the depth of field. There is so much emphasis on the flower and the background is completely blurred out. I love out. I like the effect so much because the flower is kind of small, but with the background blurred out, the flower appears to be much bigger than it is.
I also like the location of the flower. It's not where you'd expect it to be, in a field or yard, it's on the side of the road, or some place similar. The location was a great find.
I like the leaf. It's kind of random, but I like it.

Looove the title, lol! I love everything about this photo - the color, the detail, everything - except for the bright yellow in the background. It's such a large part of the background and, even blurred, it takes my eyes away from the pretty flower.

This is a pretty cool picture - the depth of field and the contrast in colors is interesting. Great call on the angle you shot this picture from - the flower really stands out against the blurred curb. Great job on this.

Great job getting the flower to be focused in the foreground, and having a blurry background? I also like how the lines of the photo guide the viewer's eyes across the image. MB. SPHS.

This a very pretty picture! I love how the flower just has a boost in the color. I also love the how the rest of the picture blurs so it only focuses on the flower! Another thing I love about this picture is how its between a crack. I also like the colors of this picture, because to me it looks like it suites the season spring.

This picture is great. The purples and yellow are vibrant and makes the photo catch your eye. The organic shape of the flower is gorgeous. The focus is great, how it is sharp in the foreground and fades off as you look into the background.

I love the color contract in this picture between the lively green and purple of the flower and the smoother gray of the concrete. I also like that the flower and leaf are in focus while the rest is out of focus. KSS SPHS

This photo is great. The depth of field is really what makes this photo so awesome. I really like the contrast and how vibrant the colors are. I also like how the flower is the only subject matter in focus, and the background is blurred. It really makes the flower stand out which compliments the photo. I also like how the flower isnt directly in the center which adds intrest and movements. Overall i think this photo is very sucessful!
