Untitled

Contributed by: J McDaniel

I took this picture a few months ago for the movement theme. I did a levels adjustment and played with the color balance. I was very pleased with the result. I like the contrast between my brother's first pose and when he moved.

It is interesting to see how one pose is lighter than the other; I love the contrast.
The fact that you did not show the eyes makes for a mysterious feeling photo. The lighting coming from the left, causing the right to become gloomier, enhances that theory.

I like the way you were able to reflect yourself and make it clearer because it gives the photo a myterious look.

I like the contrast in this photo. This photo looks like it would have taken alot of time. I like the way the light is coming in from the left. It makes it seem much lighter and almost transparent. The picture looks very mysterious. The photo looks like it is moving; the blurriness of the second image really brings out the first even though it is much lighter.

I absolutely love this picture! It's almost as if the person is having and out of body experience or possibly is a ghost. I really like the blur effect that they put onto the photo. The shadows int he background really give the picture more depth. This is an effect that I hope I will be able to accomplish during my class.

This is a very interesting photo. You would think that as he moved away from the camera, that he would fade out. It's a really mysterious picture of Frank.

Awesome job capturing your brother in 2 different poses- it creates a great before/after effect. The blur of the image creates a sense of movement, and capturing that with a camera is really cool. MB. SPHS.

I think this photo is interesting. I like how one is lighter than the other. It kind of confuses me how this photo was possible. This photo is pretty creepy and mysterious. It is going to bug me the rest of the day how this worked out so well.

The picture quality is not the best one, but the effect on this snap is very good. The way you posted the second person or the reflection is perfectly placed. GREAT EFFECTS!

I really like this photo. How long was the shutter speed? I did a photo like this with the pinhole cameras. Anyways I think this is a really good idea. I think you captured the theme of movement very well. I just wish the background was a little more different. It just seems to be a little bit plain. Anyways overall I think you did a good job. Keep up the good work. ATP SPHS

I love this photo. It's really unique and I love the style (kinda reminds me of urban outfitters?). Anyways, I like the movement withing the photo and the difference of colors on the same figure. I also really like the angle (how you can't see his entire face). Great photo!

I like the colors and the fading of the model.Lighting is nicely used, not too bright or dark! The mood is really happy because he seems to almost be dancing? Though the model isn’t smiling it seems pleasant.

This photo is so different. But so cool and unique. You must have used a very slow shutter speed, but quick enough to not make it too blurry, which was a very good idea. I like that the subject is the same person and how imperfect the photo is but still looks so great! Good job!
