1st Post of 10/11 - Grow

Contributed by J Bryan

I was shooting at a nearby condo building for my Perspective project and decided this worked better on its own. Upped the exposure and contrast in Camera Raw.

I really like this picture! I like how you can't tell where the flower is coming from. I think the exposure is good and i like the color of the flower compared to the shy and wood. It's overall a great picture.

Wow. This is gorgeous! I love how the slats of the wood (?) is diagonal. The perspective of the wood (?) and how we can only see the bottom of the flower is very pleasing to the eye. Very nice work! :)

I really like the angle of the shot. It is really cool that the flower appears like it trying peek through the fence. MC-SPHS

love the lighting. this photo puts me in a happy mood. the soft focus on the beams is nice too. i might have placed another of the flowers leaves in the beam to balance out the photo more.

I might not have thought of this for a photograph at first, but it seems to have worked really well. Not only the flower, but the way the curtains have the markings in them, might make you think of flower, so it accents it nicely.

very cute picture. makes me realize that bugs have a little life of their own. the lighting is good. i wish the photo was a little more zoomed in.. to make the bug more of a subject.

Ilove how you focused on the flower which by the way i like the yellowish and greenish color of the flower. I like how the flower is supported by the brown wood. It's the best picture that i have seen of a flower. Mbau SP

I really like how the flower seems to be reaching out, trying to escape from the fence. I also like the perspective and angle the picture is taken at. it looks like you got down pretty low for this shot.

I love this! The composition of the photograph is fantastic and the colors work really well together. Usually I only comment on photos that I have some sort of critique for, but I really can't think of one here! It's a wonderful photograph.

I love, love, LOVE this. The crisp edges of the flower against the wooden frame. The contrast of the two organic materials are great and there is nothing I would change about the picture! Awesome job!!

I really like how the flower is coming through the cracks of the fence. I love the colors of the picture. I would have liked more focus of the fence, because it is a little blurry looking on the right.

I really like this picture. I love the light coming from under the flower and how you don't know what is under it. Great job.

I like how this picture captures the shocking distinction between the vibrant colors of the zinnia and the dull lifeless boards. It also has a good Depth of Field. I also like how the white stripe of light brightens up the picture. Well done!

I like the contrast between the colorful, more vibrant flower and the more earthy looking wood. The upward looking angle of the photo really helps it I think. This is overall a really beautiful shot.

I like how the picture overall came out to look like. The element of composition used in the picture the contrast of the picture and the angle of the picture. The mood of the picture is very soft and makes the person feel happy.

This is a really inspiring photograph. I love how the flower seems to be alive. You really captured personality with something that has none to begin with. I think the angle that you used is perfect and the lighting is also great.

What I like about this photo is how the colors of the flower stand out against the fence and bring such a brightness feeling to the photo. The element of composition used was rule of thirds and kind of seems like close up. The mood of the photo is that it was a very gloomy day.

I like the angle of which the you had chosen. It’s give you a different view of the flower were as most pictures shows the top birds eye view. This one is definitely different in a good way :D

The lines of the fence lead my eyes to the flower .The leading lines help draw my attention to the flower and its colors were as if it wasn’t there and there was maybe just grass it wouldn’t have give the picture its own personality.

I think it had a little too much exposure. Between the fences is extremely bright.

To me it reflects that mood or moment when you’re having a boring day, everything is dull. Its raining everything is tremendously the same as every other day then something happens and brightens up everything around you.

I like how the flower is going through the old fence. I enjoy the angle the photo was taken at.
The coloring of the fence and how obvious the marks on it are makes this photo much more interesting. I really like this photo.

This picture is really cool. I love how the colors are so bright on the flower compared to everything else. It looks really good with the light in the background. This makes me think about like a diamond in the rough or something by how it is coming out of fence and it is all alone in this picture. It seems very happy and that is how it makes me feel.
