Cami

Contributed by R Niday

-I took this picture of my dog Cami in my back yard. It was rather challenging since she was preoccupied with the idea of playing fetch but I thought this picture turned out the best. I made it a B&W and added a tint as well as a filter.

This is an interesting concept, and I think it was pulled of well enough, however I think the background blur should be traded with the blur on the dog. If the background was blurred, and the dog was captured perfectly, then the viewer might have something more interesting to look at.

This is such a cute picture. It brings back the days when I used to play with my yellow lab before he passed away. The coloring of this photo is really cool too.MC-sphs

Awwww! I love this picture. My teacher told me that you need to have a little motion in action shots and I agree with him when I see this picture. The dog's hair looks like it's flowing. It looks Sepia which is my favorite effect. It makes it look like an autumn picture with the leaves behind in the background. Great job!

The dog jumping up in the air reminds me of my uncle's dog that likes to jump too. I like the color transformation in this photo. I bet it was challenging to take a picture of the dog while she was jumping. But its a great photo overall.

Composition-wise, I really like it, although I do wish the tail and paws weren't clipped off on the sides. The color works very well with the subject, and it's a great example of motion. JB SPHS

Capturing the motion of Cami was great. Having her body leap into the air while catching a ball in her mouth. The background also helps the picture as a whole for a day when a dog is just outside having fun.

I like the motion blur in this photo. It makes it look like the dog is jumping. I also like how the color brown is shown throughout the whole photo.

I think this picture has a great effect to it. It reminds me of my childhood, and is almost like from back in time.

I love dogs so of course I like this picture! It's such a cool action shot and the ball in her mouth makes it even better. I wish more of her face was visible but it's an over all good picture!

I like this picture. I like how you can see the movement of the dog. I also like how it is in black and white so it flows really well. The light coming through the trees is also very cool. Great job!

That's so fun! I love how you captured the movement of the dog. The leaning fence in the background gives some nice depth to the picture. I also like the light shining on the trees in the top right corner. Nice work.

I like this photo but then I don’t.If the dog wasn’t as blurred it would have made me happier.I like that you did a color change to it because it goes with the type of photo it is.I also like how the dog is angled, it really fills the frame.

This picture just makes you happy when you look at it. The only bad thing is that it’s so blurry. The picture would also be lot better if you used rule of thirds or if you had framed the subject.

The sepia filter on this picture is nice. Though it would have been better if the background was blurred instead of the dog. Nice use of composition though, the dog fits the frame nicely.

I don’t like this photo as much because of the color chosen and I think if you had a part of the dog in focus it would have turned out better. –DZ ERHS
