Balance

Contributed by J Bryan

This one was taken at the railroad tracks off Oxmoor Road. It was hard to set up since I couldn't see myself with the camera up on the tripod, but this one turned out well. I added a lighting layer to give it the orange filter.

Awesome photo! I love how the train tracks curve and fade off into the distance. I also like how you are at the side of the photo instead of the center of it. The orange filter was a nice touch too. ^~^

I think that this photo is amazing! I love the orange color that you added, and it really pulls the whole picture together. I think that the photo is neat, because the train tracks give it a never ending feeling. You did a really great job with the positioning of yourself too; I like how you are not dead center in the picture. Great job!

Wow, very cool photo. I love the lighting and nice rule of thirds. It gives off a very adventurous mood, and it uses good focus too (how the tracks “disappear”). Keep up the good work.

This is so amazing! I love that you added the warm filter, it adds such a dreamy and peaceful mood to the photo. The lines of the railroad tracks also lead your eyes back so nicely. The lighting from the sky also reflects the lines on the railroad track.

I love how you tinted the sky orange, it's beautiful. The colors in this photo are really mesmerizing. Also, i like the lines created by the railroad. The deep depth of field makes the image seem endless, and that works well with the focus. It makes me thing you are going to walk on forever, embarking on an adventurous journey! Perhaps I'm going to far, but the photo really does appear as if it has a story behind it. I LOVE it!

The orange filter adds a nice touch to the photo! I love the color of the sky. I also like how you can't see where the tracks are leading to- they just slowly fade away. The fact that you're to one side of the photo instead of the dead center is something you don't see very often. Great Job!

I really love this. The filter you used on it makes it look very different. I also think the color of your shirt goes well with the sky and the color of the tracks. You did a great job.

I love this! It looks like something that I would want to be hanging in my room. I love the fact that you took it yourself as well..mad props. The sky contrasted against the darkness of the bottom half of the photo really caught my eye.

The railed converging into the sunset is always a nice scene for a picture in my eyes. Also walking down one beam to balance could symbolize trying to walk a new path in which others are afraid to take.

this looks like it should be the cover of a movie or a book! Good choice using the orange filter.

This picture is awesome. The way the train tracks moves the eyes, the color of the sky and background, and having you in the picture keeps it from being boring. Awesome job, and great eye - taking the picture at these railroad tracks was a great idea.

this photo is set almost perfectly. i love the sharpness of color on the bee and the flower it is one. the usage of less focus in the backgroung really makes the foreground stand out like it should.

I love the subtly of the colors in this photo because they bring the photo to life. Also I like how the railroad tracks lead the eye through the whole picture and around the corner. The subject of the photo is perfectly placed and doesn’t distract too much from the rest of the picture.
