It took forever to get a clear view of the lake with no boats or swimmers, but it was worth it. I added a few low-opacity gradient maps and distorted the image outward.

I agree, it was definitely worth it! The composition is wonderful and it's generally appealing to look at.
I remember trying to take pictures at the fair.. ideally, I wanted pictures without random people in them. Yeah, right. I didn't think that one through very well, haha..
Anyway, amazing photo - I love it.

I like this picture because it makes you feel serene. I think it is a very nice shot that you took of the view of the lake and I like the angle it is at. I think it is a good thing that you distorted the image outward.

I love how nice and clear the lake and sky are. I also like how the trees behind the lake get lower as they get farther away, which helps lead the eye from the bench to the back of the lake. The cast shadow from the bench is very nice, too.

Very nice work. I love the vacant bench looking out. I don't know why, exactly. I just like the feeling it has. The colors work very well together. Good job.

I love the simplicity and the photo is so clear. I like how the color of the trees is exactly the same as the grass; it's a very natural look, as it should be. Great job!

this is a pretty picture. I think a different lense would have made it cool. Like maybe one with a really wide view or like panorama. The colors are also kind of dull.

This looks like my old backyard. Its really pretty, i like that you didn't do much to it.
You did a great job of capturing the clarity of the lake in this photo and bringing out the simplicity of the shot. The bench is a nice touch to the photo, but the picture still feels somewhat empty. I do like the diagonal that the bench makes and the lines of the treetops in the background. Nice job
