Gates

Contributed by J Bryan

I took this one at the Oak Mountain bird trail. I dropped the saturation of certain colors and added a duplicate layer on Soft Light.

The composition in this photograph is lovely and it has a great depth of field. I realize that the gate is the focal point, but there feels like there's something missing as far as that focal point goes. I'm not sure what it is and I'm not sure what I'd suggest, but I thought it was worth pointing out.

I like the lighting in this picture. And it seems like it has a creepy feel to it. I think the picture could have been a little bit better if it was taken at night and it had nice lighting. Good job.

THis is a really cool picture. i like the lighting and how it is dark. i like how everything is neutral, but there is a little color with the green trees in the background.

I really enjoy this photo. Its like an opening to a new land. I really like the detail. I love the angle you took it as as well. The trees really add to it.
