Doors of Perception

I took this picture in Bluff Park across from Tip Top Grill. I like the way the shadow from the awning hangs over the doors like it does, and I like the actual colors of the doors and the tile wall. The sunlight that's cast on the wall adds to the photo too. I took it with my personal camera which is panasonic piece of crap, but this picture turned out to my liking. I guess I'll name is "The Doors of Perception" after Aldous Huxley's book which, by the way, is where Jim Morrison got the name for his band, The Doors. Wow. You learn something new everyday.

Great shot Cotter, I like the simplicity of it. I think it works well in the Eggelston tradition of finding beauty in the mundane. Great job.

This excellent picture prooves that simplicity is often a desirable thing.
The projecting shadow, plus the subtle differences between the two doors lend visual interest, while the colors are very unifying. Very nice.

COTTER,
I really like the simplicity of this photograph. Despite the fact i live in bluff park and pass tip top grill EVERY DAY, i have no clue where you took this at. Anyway, awesome picture yo.
