Hiatus

Contributed by E Allen

I took this picture downtown. It's at a really odd angle so that it's in the perspective of my brother(those are his feet) and I set the camera so it was on sepiatone. If you look at it long enough you can see the shadow of the fence in the background. Which is kinda cool in a way. I dont know why i like it, it just kinda gives off alot of various feelings when you look at it...like, you interpret yourself what you want it to be saying, so you can make it your own. I named it Hiatus because hiatus means a break or gap.

I like this very much. The subtle diamond pattern from the fence's shadow adds an overall design that is appealing, and the sepia tone is nice. Good work!

I really like this picture because shadows tend to add dramatic effects to a picture. The way the ground is broken and the sepia tone is on it gives it a more earthy look. I love this picture.

What I particularly like about this picture is it's in sepia (I believe) but i love that the subject is not even in the photo--the subject seems to be that the person is saying where did this pothole come from? The subject is more what's going in that persons head, it's a picture that makes you think.
