United Methodist Five Points

Contributed by M Hopkins

This was one of my pictures out of the architecture assignment. I took it at the methodist church at five points. I like it because it has a lot of contrast. The sky is a pretty bright shade of blue and the building its self is kind of pink giving it a hot cold effect. There is also contrast in the building its self with the dark shudders against the light brick. it is one of my favorites because of the detail and the carvings in the structure.

The crisp contrast and fine architectural details make this a very interesting study. Good work.

Your right about the warm/cool contrast making this image pop. It just needs a pigon or something to give my eye a secondary subject to rest on. A nice photo all the same.

Very original photograph, in a good way. With all the abstraction in modern art, its easy to forget what a simple, yet interesting piece should look like. Nice photograph, although, I do agree with Mr.Myers, its missing an alternative subject.
