I took this picture over the break at Cambridge Coffee House. It's the lead singer of a band called Crowe, which is where the title came from. I love music, so i think thats why i like this piece because it captures that sense of just getting lost in music.

Very awesome picture! Way to use effects and not overdue it.
I like this photo a lot. The blurry quality sets the mood (as you say - "getting lost in the music"), and even though the microphone stand is a rather jarring contrast across the front of the subject, it's diagonal placement helps give the photo some motion. Nice work!
I like the image, although the microphone is somewhat disturbing to me. It distracts the eye from the subject of the photograph. The photograph is very original at first glance and the filter adds an interesting feel to it. I'd also want to see the levels changed a bit. In general, it is a nice snapshot, but could have some things improved.
I disagree with the previous poster in that I think the microphone is an essential part of the photo. Without it, there's no context. Without the mike, this is just some guy sitting with a guitar; but the mike gives the context of a performance. Lastly, I also like the tight cropping here. I gives a nice sense of intimacy.
