Top of the World

Contributed by C Swift

The name of this picture is "Top of the World," which I named after a song. I took this picture when we went on the school field trip to the workshop at UAB. Me and Alli just walked around outside the workshop and started taking pictures. I really like the clouds in this picture and the way that half of the sun is showing.

This photo has such a mysterious quality about it. Not only are the clouds very textural, the central image leaves the viewer guessing - with something to think about. Excellent.

This is a good picture. Seems like something from a SCI-FI movie.

I like the clouds... but I'm not thrilled about the silhouette. I guess as an unidentifyable shape, it just doesn't evoke any interest for me. I keep wondering if there was a better way that you could've captured such a neat sky with something more interesting as the focal point (?)
