Downtown

Contributed by S DeLeonard

I took this picture last Wednesday on the north side of downtown, near 19th street &1st Ave. This is a office building. It reminds me of skyscrapers in a big city. The sky makes the building look larger and the angle I took it captures the building from the middle to the top. The lighting of the building goes from dark at the top to light at the bottom.

i really like this shot a lot because of the perspective with the building getting smaller as it goes up. I think i would like it much more though if it was in black in white or something. its good though!

I like it but I agree with megan black and white or rather grayscale would look nice on it. maybe if there was some clouds in the sky or a plane or just something to break up the solid blue. But I do like the composition, good job.

I really like this photograph. But I have to agree with Meagan and Franklin and tell you to try black and white. I think it would really help the image. Nice job!

This is a nice shot, composition-wise, with the angle of the building adding interest. What I really like to see (and do) with architectural shots is catch a reflection of something unexpected in the windows. Clouds are nice and I always am interested in reflections of other buidings - especially when they are very different architecturally. Try it again with the same building when the sky has some clouds. Good job.
