Untitled

Contributed by B Aaron

I took this picture a few days ago in my backyard. We have a ton of plants and statues back there. This particular statue reminds me of statues from ancient Rome and I've always thought those looked pretty cool. I like the texture of the statue and the details on its face. I think the small plant hanging in the top left helps balance the picture. I like it.

I think this picture is beautiful! The composition and angle are both awesome. As you said, the leaves in the upper left corner really help balance this shot. I personally cannot find anything wrong with this photo. Possibly a levels adjustment to bring out some shadows, but it still looks fine as it is. Nice job!

Thought the picture looked pretty sweet. The only thing I thought could be changed was the sky, it appears to me to take to much out of the picture.

I really like the composition of this shot. It is balanced, but not at all boring - with lots of texture and interest. Good job!

"I think the small plant hanging in the top left helps balance the picture"... Absolutely! The greenery is very nicely placed. I also think that the tight cropping works well with this angle. My only nitpick is that the background of the sky and branches distract quite a bit. The washed out sky might suit the photo best since it gives it a monochrome feel... but it still looks cluttered. In any event, I like the change of angle, and texture in the photo. Nicely done.
