This Picture I took sometime in July At the bowling alley. It is a pic of my friend Treyce. She used to model, and i was trying to show that she still had it in her. I picked this photo because it was in such pure focus and I made it black and white because it just makes a more dramatic piece for me. I like how its kinda in focus on one side and not on the others because it makes you think where it is. Feel free to comment on my picture, even make me feel bad because I want to get better.

I like this pic but i think that you need to crop a little off of the right (or re-crop leaving more on the left and taking some off the right) just because the pic gets kind of blurry over there and i think i would like it better if her face wasnt right in the middle. Its good though, and thats just my opinion, good luck this year!

I agree with Megan...a good shot, beautiful subject, but the right side is not very interesting. You could chop a bit off over there and only improve things. Thanks for stepping up and getting the blog off to a good start.
I like this portrait because in one sense its very dynamic and in the other its quite static. I also think the right side is somewhat distracting with the blur. I love how her eyes guide the viewer to the left and make them wonder what she is looking at. One suggestion I have though is to do a levels adjustment. There are parts where it is a bit blown out and and not enough shadows. Besides adding a little more contast by adjusting the levels, I think this picture is very well composed. Good Job

I think this picture is precious! The second it popped up on my screen, she made me smile. I happen to like the blurred look, however, if you cropped a little more off the right side you could still see that she was in the bowling alley without so much of the blurry side showing.I love seeing some of the background because it shows why she is having fun and seems so happy. Overall- Great job. :)
As your former marketing teacher who knows that you are a great bowler, I think it is cool that you took your wonderful picture at the bowling alley. As your former teacher, I am proud of your work. Keep it up! Go Jags,
