CRAZY Q

I took this picture while driving down a country road. I saw this closed down grocery store and figured it would make a good photograph. I turned it into black and white to create a more soft, lost feeling. The emptyness of of the photo causes it to feel abandoned. I enjoyed this shot, so tell me what you think!

Nice shot, especially in light of the fact that there is a William Christenberry exhibit going on at the Museum. This type of americana photography was established by Walker Evans...Alabama has its share of this type of imagery out in the countryside. Nice Jobx

i love the character of this picture. the old shut down building in black and white. contrast looks good and this picture has good position and composition. i like it.

I like this picture, It makes me think of Wild West movies. I like
how the old building is still around, untouched by the passing of time.
No graffiti or destruction. Amazing photo hunting. i could never get a
photo like that around here. Grats!

Thanks for the comments. The image has not been photoshopped in any way beyond monocromatic and level changes to answer Eli's question.
