This is a picture of one of my classmates feet that I took for a studio/digital project. I noticed that they had sand on their toes when I opened that picture in photoshop! I thought that it had potential to be a pretty cool picture with some work. I cropped in on the toes to make the picture more interesting and to move the eye around more. I then changed the mode to grayscale and did a levels adjustment. Tell me what you think!

i felt bad b/c nobody commented so i did. good choice to make it black and white
Hey thats pretty cool. I love the highlights on the toes and the depth around them. The sand was a good idea too. Overall I really like it.
i really like this picture, like i;d prolly hang it in my room, or bathroom or something...i guess i just really like the detail and the texture contrast

it's really detailed. almost like we can see every grain of sand. i like this, and i think the black and white really adds to the character. i also like how the toes are curled. this shot is really nice. =]

I like this cropping of your larger shot, it makes for a fairly abstract composition. One that shows lots of detail. For those of you outside of our class, Selman used her studio day photographing various feet from our class, her panoramic composite image is almost finished and looks very interesting.
