Back in Time

Contributed by J Brinkerhoff

I took this picture while at home of an 8 track record player I found in my closet . It still works. I set up the shot on in my bedroom using sheets to do it. The shutter speed was at 8 which I was hoping would take a better shot while indoors. I then took it in photoshop and edited as you see now.

Very Cool! The orange tiles you have photoshop’d over the 8-Track player, along with the plain vanilla background, really give your photos a late 1960’s early 1970’s vibe (like the magazine adds of the period). Having the player turned on with the #4 track light, record light, and level “meters” on really adds to the affect as well. Great job, and seeing it really makes me want to go out and find an old 8-track player so I can play my “Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Greatest Hits” 8-track I have lying around…

i really like this...i feelk like the way you divided it up makes it interesting and it contributes to the point about it being kind of vintage or whatever...it would be a boring composition without the colors, but i really like it the way it is
