Evening in the Park '07

The parent organization "Patrons of the Park" is hosting its annual fundraiser, Evening in the Park. The event features the wide talents of all the performing art students, displayed art from the visual art students, a silent auction with lots of goodies and food catered by Jeff State's culinary school. This years performance is titled "Step up to the Plate" and is based on a Spring baseball theme. It should be a wonderful night and your ticket price goes directly to supporting the Patron's mission of financing projects in the fine art departments and suppling student scholarships. Past funding has supplied the dance team a floor, the choir a keyboard lab and funds to help defray the expenses involved in competing at national. Upcoming proposed programs include a professors' workshop in several visual media for the visual art students.
