This is a picture of a hill that for some odd reason i decided to sprint up...i was really tired after my pointless exercise. Anyways, i enjoy this picture due to the fact that there are several hills with increasing foliage and shadows the closer you get to the bottom. I took this picture with a fuji camera with 7.1 mp. There was a minor levels adjustment and i managed to achieve minimal shaking without a tripod.

well Jack, your inexplainable runing habits aside, I would like to make a few comments. first of all, that brown stick thing in the bottom left hand corner of the piece is very distracting. I think the piece would look better without it. other than that though I really like this shot. nice depth of field, nice value, nice framing/positioning, and a very nice title if I may say so. it all conveys an image of a happy, pleasant little road that only the insane would attempt to sprint down.
this picture is really captivating. It has really good depth of field as well as nice color however a little bit of saturation adjustments wouldnt hurt. but it looks like a very nice place and even a nice little jog.

this is an intresting picture due the the perspective effect with the rode going off into the distance. i think it would be a little better with some form of subject in it. something to make it more complex. i like it though. it reminds me of going to the lake. the good ole days
To me this picture is coolest because of its depth. The road does a good job of catching your eye off on that right border and leading it through the rest of the picture. Good lighting too, but that was probably more nature's doing.
This is a really cool photo. I like the curvy line of the road carrying you through the picture and I like the abandoned feel to it. Great Shot!
I like this image for several reasons. As mentioned, the s curve line created by the road does lead my eye into the image nicely and I like the limited color pallet of greens and blue/violet. I wish the shadows we not quite so dark, this is difficult to control at the time of day you took this (midday I am guessing). You would get nicer results near to sunrise and sunset. I think you could improve this image a bit by cropping the right side a bit and some off the bottom. The dark weeds in the foreground could be cloned out as CJ suggested. Nice job
