I was taking pictures for my Red assignment when i came across the closed sign in the window of the apartment office window. I took the picture hoping it would appear red but instead I ended up with a kind of symbolic picture. The CLOSED is foreboding symbol that is contrasted by the reflections of the sky. The colors are contrasting from orange to blue the image is contrasting from block text to open organic shapes. I used the CS3 Bridge and adjusted the saturation of the orange and cyan and also sharpened the image.

wow is this on a billboard because if it is than it looks like it is in the sky
I like this picture. The color contrast is cool.
this picture is really cool. very different from a lot of stuff i've seen lately. the reflection of the building on the right is a bit distracting but if you cropped it out it would take away from the composition. i like what you said about the
contrast of the sky and the letters.
great shot

COOL KIRA, VERY COOL.
I really like this picture. The reflection is what makes this picture work. I really really like it. And the orange and blue go well together WAR EAGLE!! yeah but they are also complementary colors so they do go well together. Good Shot
This picture is hopefully depressing. The sky is wide open but it’s forbidden. It makes a rebel, like me, truly want to rebel. Sprout wings and fly into and beyond the great wide open nothing. JESUS CRISPIES
Too me this image is quite thought provoking and because of that, I look at it differently than I would most photographs. The simplicity of the shot along with the close cropping of the word both add to the conceptual nature of the work. The contrasting colors help add to the unified feel to the image. Objects such as the tree in the lower portion and the lamp on the right help bu giving me enough clues to realize that this is an image of a reflection. I think this is a really strong image and will look good in your portfolio.
At first i think of this picture as a bad photoshop job. It almost seems like you pasted on the close sign and turned down the opacity. Upon further investigation, i really actually enjoy it due to the reality of the shot and the out of focus reflection. I think it would have been better though to have more of the ground in the reflection. The mostly sky reflection gives it a feeling of just being suspended in place for no reason...sort of.
