Honeymoon at the Beach

Contributed by M Crumbley

I took this photo during the painting with light assignment. I brought just some random things from home and put them in a basket that i had at home. I really like this shot.

the sand dollars in this shot are really interesting and there is an interesting mix of objects also which catch your attention and make you take more than one look at the picture, also the lighting is done well

i like your interplay of light and dark in this photo- it creates a kind of romantic mood. the focus is perfect and i like the clear detail of all of your objects. i also like the highlight on the grapes. the picture is realistic enough to appear as a photo but also feels like a painting at the same time. my only criticism is that the objects could have been more cohesive..the sand dollars throw me off.

not bad. pretty cool actually i like the angle and the setup of your basket. It's got the beach romantic feel to it with the wine corks, grapes, flowers, sand dollars and dim light.

I like it too. I think it was a pretty interesting mix of items, with the sand dollars, and everything else. I also like the lighting. I think it's "just right!" Good Job! Congrats!

I do like the cool, almost romantic collection of elements to this shot. My problem with it is the same one that I've had with all the paint with light ones: dimness of color. It wouldn't have to be much color, indeed, shouldn't be, but maybe just enough to draw the eye to some individual element

I really like how the lighting in the picture expresses the importance of particular objects. However, almost half of the picture is dark. It might have captured the feeling better if more of the picture was brighter. When I first looked at this picture, I notices how the objects all relate to a romantic night on the beach. The random collection of objects come together to put off a very creative photo. Overall, good job!
