Contributed by A Horton

I found this outside the old house in Vestavia.I liked the color of the rust, and the blue in the background

Great job on this on Ashton. I really like the color pallet; red/orange and blue/green, which as you know are complimentary. The abstract composition works well especially on the right side. I think the split down the center with the left side being out of focus is not working as well but is still interesting. Strong start to your year.

This is a wonderful shot. I like the industrial feel to the composition. The color scheme also works well, i like the rust color mixed with the lighter blue green color of the metal grating. Over all i feel this is a great shot.

I really like this photo. I love the color. The detail is great. I like how the red kind of looks like blood. I think the colors are great together. They blend yet contrast. The photo may look better if it was a little lighter, but it looks great dark too.

I really like this photo! The lines extending back into the picture give the photo lots of depth. The color scheme is also very effect. It makes the focus "pop." However, all of the attention is on the right side of the photograph and the viewers eye is not lead all the way around the piece. love it though keep it up!

This photo really doesn't do much for me. i feel like it's really plain and doesn't focus on any kind of significant subject matter. The colors are also a bit weird. I can't see the detail's in the screws and they red around them seem a bit strange. I do like how the photo is led to the background, and i think you can fix most of the problems with this shot.

After passing through this one several times now, I really think it's starting to grow on me! At first, I didn't like it, but now I'm starting to like the way the pale blue mixes with the very dark reds.
