I took this photo down town standing on the outskirts of an abandoned playground. I couldn't get to the playground because of this fence. I think this picture is interesting because there is an old school bus and rusty playground equipment in the background, while the focus is the fragment of fence in the foreground.

This photo has a sort of ‘grunge’ feel about. The colors are dark and dirty and the barbed edges of the fence look dangerous. I think the lighting makes for a very aesthetic image. It’s a great shot with a bit or uniqueness about it. Very nice!

I really like this photo. Its very sharp and in focused up front and everything else is blurred. It adds to depth of field which I think makes it so unique. I like the colors in the photo; various browns on the fence and the yellow bus in the background. Good Job!

I love this photo because it looks so abstract for something so remarkably ordinary. It's just a rusty fence! But it looks so much more intricate when you look up close. I like the shapes of the twisted wire a lot. (:
Of course, since it's a picture of rusty metal, the texture is brilliant as well. Good shot!

I think you did a great job with this picture i like the colors, i wish all the fence was in focus rather than just the closer part, but the blurred background makes the fence pop, so i don't know. overall good job!

I really like the look and feel of this picture. Sort of a rustic, hometown feel. It is clearly outdoors so the lighting was easily taken care of and your angle here is very well planned. The depth of field is extremely appealing to the eye as the wire on the fence is in focus towards the front and then loses focus as it works its way down the fence. The school bus in the background is cool too all blurred out. It adds to the color scheme too.Good shot.

I like this photo alot. The wires of the fence move your eye down the picture along with the bar. I love the blur as the fence gets farther away. Although not very noticable at first, the school bus in the back makes a great background.

This picture is a great single focus image with the background blurred. The only thing that could make it better is if the rest of the fence was in focus. How crisp the texture of the fence is really makes this image look fantastic. Again great job with this.

I really like this image solely for the rustic feel it has. I feel like it's trying to give a specific message about being lonely or trapped. The lighting for this image is perfect, i think that if it had been any brighter it would have been ruined. The shadows on the fence also add a bit of darker feel to the picture. I love how the fence begins to fade out, making the little world of this picture seem never-ending. The motion of the bus makes the picture more real, and more personal, because everyone has seen a bus pass, but this picture offers a new, different perspective.

I really like the shape of the twisted wire. The blurred background really does make the wire pop and the yellow color of the bus helps the rusted, muted colors of the fence stand out as well. Overall really good job!

I like the perspective of this photo. The strong line in the middle of the photo draws my eyes up and down the photo quite well. Good use of a shallow depth of field, too.

Great job on this photo. The depth of field looks excellent; the chain-links closest to us are in crystal clear, and the rest are blurry and do a good job as part of the background.
I love the bus in the background. It provides some context for the location of the photo, helps make the chain links on the fence stand out, and adds color. In fact, I like all the colors in this photo, not only in the bus but in the fence as well. Almost all the colors here are warm colors, which makes the photo look sunny and cheery despite the somewhat forbidding-looking fence.

I like this photo because the focus on the fence. I have always liked the look of somewhat worn out fences. The colors have good contrast, they do not blend in together. One can tell what is in the background even though it is blurry. The composure is good. Good job!

I really like this photo! The first thing I like is the order in which everything is introduced! First, you see the rusty-looking gate edges, and then your eye moves across the gate, to the right edge of the screen. I also like how the bottom-right corner has better, brighter, and cleaner wires than the foreground. Then, your eye moves up, and sees the school bus in the far background.

This is neat. I think your camera picks up a great bit of detail. this is kind of boring subject matter but i think you did good with it. I realy like how the focus is on the front the blurs towards the back to create depth.
