Untitled

Contributed by M Morgan

I took this picture of my lovely friend Allie for our human abstract assignment. I cropped in a little bit, did a curves adjustment, and sharpened it. Hope you like it!

I love the organic feel of this photo. Hans always make interesting subjects , but the way Allie's hand is posed is stunning. Love the sharpness and the way that you can see all the little details, even the little grooves in the nails.

It's so human and abstract! haha. I really like the fingerprints and lines in the hand; they're very nicely defined. The colours are lovely and ... fleshy ? It's just so rosy and nice. I probably would have done this with a darker background, however -- just to make the edge of the thumb a little stronger. Otherwise, nice job ! (:

This is a good picture. I like it and the changes you made took a regular hand and made it look beautiful. You can see every line and detail in her finger and it just look great. Nice job

This photo caught my attention when i first saw it. This image is just very interesting it shows a combination of abstract as well as human appearance. I do also like the color of the fingers as well as the hands. Every little detail is shown throughout the image that also became interesting to me. The angle was a very good one . Overall this shot was a great one! Keep up the good work!-MC SPHS

this picture has a good idea behind it but there is so much more that cold of been done to it that would of made it so much better, the background is too light and the hand looks a little rough as well

Allie has beautiful hands. This is a really nice shot. The focus is amazing and I really like how her fingers create a diagonal line for my eyes to follow. My only complaint is that the lighting seems a bit too harsh on the left side of the shot and it draws a little more attention than it should. Overall, very nice. :)

This is a really nice photo. I like how the hand is completely in focus so you can see every line and little detail. The lighting was good and I also like how close up it is.

I love the simplicity of this photo! It gives off a very calming sense. The only thing I would change would be to get more of the knuckles, but other than that I really like it! Great job! (:

This is a really cool shot. I love that you got so close to take the photo. You can see all the little lines in her finger and thumb, which adds a lot to the composition of the photo. You did a great job of making sure her hand was the only thing the viewer sees. There’s nothing in the background that could distract you at all. I really like the way you had her curling her finger as well. It looks really neat, I like it a lot. Great job!

Good use of hands! I REALLY like what you did with the fingers, and the whole one-finger, one-thumb thing was really 'creative.'
