I've got your back

Contributedby M Morgan

This is a picture of Patrick's back. I got him to bend over so his vertebrates would protrude out. I like the goose-bumps and the texture that his skin created. I sharpened it and did a curves adjustment in Photoshop.

I really love this shot. It is so simple but tells a story. The black and white really contributes to its simple nature. The highlights and lowlights are beautiful and really add depth to the shot. The spin creates a sense of movement. I agree, the goosebumps create a great texture.

This picture is great. I like how the spine is at the diagonal, because it leads the eye. The texture of his back makes it even more visually appealing. I like how the top half of the picture is lighter than the bottom half. It is just overall a great photo!

wow, I really like this shot. I love the shadows you created with the light against the spine of his back and how it goes from very light at the top to very dark near the bottom. The lines in his spine create leading lines for your eyes to follow, and the chill bumps and little lines in his skin make the photo very visually appealing. I love how you made something so ordinary into an interesting picture. I love this. awesome!

I really like the shot. The lighting is great and I love how Patrick's spine creates a line for my eye to follow. There's not much more I can say about this picture, but everything works together to make this a great shot.

This is a cool picture. Its very simple and yet intricate at the same time. When blown up to full size you can see the detail in his skin very well and it gets very detailed. I like the simple color scheme as well, which really helps the image. The only problem I can find is that its is real creepy too. I don't mean offense, its just that I get chills looking at it. Which, in my opinion means you must have done it right. MFS from SPHS.

Wow I really love this shot!! At first glance, there's is no telling what in the world this is a picture of but in a good way. I love how the highlights begin at the top and descend into a darkness at the bottom, it's leads the eye. Also, the path going along his back really enhances the movement portrayed. So many textures come across to me from just this single photograph! This shot is really amazing, it's simple but with so much potential!

This photo is a good shot. The curve of the back leads the eye from top to bottom and vice versa. The goosebumps also make a good texture as well as the raised vertebrates. I even like the composition of the photo, which is not too boring due to the lighting and angle of the shot.

There really isn't much to say about this photo...but I'll see what I can do! (as if it matters to anyone >.<) Moving on...argh, I don't know where to start. This photo is just too weird. The lighting is interesting, and it really accentuates his spine. This in turn creates a fair line for the eye to follow. There's something about the color that just...works, but I can't seem to describe it. That's all I have to say, other than that I find the goosebumps to be a little disturbing...but that's just me. Nice job on the close-up! (jealous b/c I've had no such luck myself -_-)

P.S. The word is "vertebrae", not "vertebrates" (sorry, my inner grammar Nazi couldn't resist)

I really like this picture. I agree that it tells a story, and I like that it takes a minute for the eye to focus on it, and realize that it is the back. Also, the texture from the goose-bumps is nice. Shadows look great, and overall I love this shot!

I love this picture. The definition is great. The shadows make it interesting and dynamic. Nice job on capturing the texture of his skin. Way to go.

i really like your picture! its cool how you took something so simple and made it very abstract. It is a picture that you need to take a second look at.

This, in my opinion, is an unconventionally interesting shot. Lots of people wouldn’t think of taking a picture of someone’s skin, but I think it is cool to see the close-up detail of it. I like how the lighting changes throughout the picture, how the bottom half is shadowed. Very nice!

This is kind of weird but neat at the same time. I like the lighting, it perfect. It makes it seem creepy or something. I also like the curve of the spine and the goosebumps too. Good job, I like your style.

At first I was confused as to what this was a picture of, and then I read the description. I was intrigued; I think this is a pretty unique picture. I know I never would have thought to do something like this. I like the texture and the ripple created by the spine. It makes me think of one of those Tylenol commercials where it’s like different parts of the body, but it’s cool.
